Verification should connect the company you are speaking with to a real legal entity, a real production operation and clear commercial responsibilities.
Confirm who will receive the order
Check the company’s Chinese business licence, registered name and business scope. The company named in the contract and receiving payment should be understood before funds are transferred. If a trading company, related factory or different payment entity is involved, the relationship must be explained clearly.
Review production capability
Confirm whether the supplier manufactures the product itself, which processes are completed in-house and which are subcontracted. Equipment, staffing, current production and quality procedures should support the capacity being promised.
Turn the sample into a written standard
A good sample is only useful when its materials, dimensions, performance, packaging and approved details are recorded. These specifications should follow the order into production instead of remaining as informal messages.
- Match company, contract and payment details.
- Confirm manufacturer or trader status.
- Review samples and specifications.
- Agree quantity, packaging, timing and inspection terms in writing.
Verification reduces uncertainty. It does not remove the need for a clear agreement and follow-up during production.
